The desks have a .75 inch thick, high-pressure laminate top with a convenient pencil groove. The durable, pedestal frames feature adjustable height legs to raise them up by 3 inches. Under the desktops is a spacious, heavy-duty, book box with ample room for books, papers and supplies, as well as hooks on both sides to hang students' backpacks and jackets. The chairs feature pedestal frames that provides added stability and adjustable height legs. The seats and backs are constructed of sturdy plastic, and the slatted backs provide air circulation for greater comfort.
