The StreamSet stands out with its two sets of unique earpads. Choose between the M50x earpads for superior audio quality and sound isolation, or the mesh and leatherette earpads for optimal breathability and comfort.
The microphone design is what truly distinguishes the StreamSet. Unlike typical broadcast headsets that use a highly directional dynamic mic, the ATH-M50xSTS employs a cardioid condenser from our popular 20 Series microphone designs. Positioned at the end of a flexible boom arm, it ensures ideal positioning that maintains proximity to your mouth, even as you move your head. This results in rich, studio-quality vocal presence without background noise, consistently output at an ideal level.
For quick and efficient muting, simply flip the boom arm into the up position. The ATH-M50xSTS comes with a 2 m (6.6') permanently attached cable with a 3.5 mm (1/8") headphone input and XLR microphone output for seamless connection to an audio interface or mixer. A 6.3 mm (1/4") snap-on adapter is also included for the headphone plug.
