It is designed for any home environment and will capture dust, pollen, pet dander, smoke, mold spores, volatile organic compounds and household odors. The Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) from the Association of Home Appliances Manufacturers (AHAM) gave this unit a very high rating.
